Inevitably, we see Nature's creatures through anthropomorphic eyes. That's why we have subjectively demonized or neglected many of Nature's "scary" or "ugly" creations and have easily slaughtered so many (example: sharks), many of which are now endangered species. This creature, through those same anthropomorphic eyes, is horrifyingly ugly. To it's advantage, it is extremely well camouflaged, highly venomous, not appealing as a food fish and unsurprisingly, has been left alone. I try to cast aside those debilitating anthropomorphic lenses, and in this case, I see the pure beauty of Nature's design in the face of this startling SPOTTED SCORPIONFISH.
