Shot from below, this is a detail from a 26 metre long (80 foot) blue whale skeleton. It is suspended in the atrium of the University of British Columbia's Beaty Biodiversity Museum, in Vancouver BC.
The skeleton was trucked 6,000 km from near the town of Tignish, Prince Edward Island, Canada, to UBC in 2007 and put on display in the museum in 2010.
