This is a real old shot, taken back in 2006 at Land's End in Cornwall. As a storm approached, Pat Di Fruscia and I stood resolute on the cliff tops, trying our best to make the most of the conditions before running for cover. Throughout this 180 second exposure, the lightning bolt struck just once, fortunately for me it was in the absolute perfect position!
note: the horizon does look very uneven at this size but its just the effect of the dark clouds over the sea.
