Since I wanted to capture this before the rice broke through the waterline, this will remain in my hunt next year; however, since they seem to time it near Golden Week; timing such a trip will be a careful balancing act. (I fear the Golden Week swarms.)
This was from my first day as the sun dipped in the low lying clouds. I tuned the polarizer slightly different in the first day so you can actually see into the water a little in this shot. The sun provided the rest of the show and the gradients were present SoC. Truly magical moment.
