Getting up at 3.30am didn't feel like a good idea that morning. It was pitch black and difficult to imagine the whole point. After a one hour journey to the hot air balloon launch site we were treated to a spectacular sunrise over the Serengeti Plains (I'll publish that picture one day). The views got more stunning as the day unfolded and this picture, taken from our own balloon, helps portray the vast expanse of land we flew over.
