A wildfire burns the foothills above and behind Golden, Colorado. Seeing something like was utterly amazing, to say the least. This image was also picked up by our local ABC affiliate and later ABC national news. For the shot, I decided to go with a long exposure having learned my lesson from the previous year and photographing wildfires, with how the flames can show some incredible light with a longer shutter.
