I was hunting big snow in Bryce Canyon for couple of month and managed to get there just before
monster storm arrived. For next 48 hours roads were closed and heavy snow was falling non-stop. It was
perfect time to finalize couple of long time ago promised articles, drink hot tea and read fiction book from
Finally meteorologists have promised short gap in the snowy and windy weather. In predawn hour I have
descended to one of my favorite spots in the Canyon. Fresh snow was waist-deep with no foot-prints! I
waited endless cold minutes for Sun to break through the thick fog and low clouds on the horizon. Finally

the bright orange sand-stone spires and towers!
In 15 minutes fog has kicked back, and show was gone. For the next 48 hours it was snowing again.
