I have a huge respect for all the guys that rock in macro photography. Here in 500px, there are a bunch of them that really are making amazing macros!! Congrats!!
About this shot, I was shooting this butterfly laid on some rocks (pretty much unconfortable btw) when an ant came just next to the butterfly. I saw it on my viewfinder as I was shooting the scene. I just had the time to shoot this encounter pressing the shutter by pure reflex. I had a huge luck because the ant stayed during less than 2 seconds next to the big butterfly. I had also a big luck that the ant came right on my focus area, inside the DoF!
I'm pretty much happy with this shot, please give me some feedback. I appreciate it very much as it helps me to improve more and more :)
No Photoshop is made on this picture, the Butterfly and the Ant were next to each other :)
