This particular scene changed so many times from lifeless and uninteresting to vivid and fascinating and it all stemmed around the impending arrival of a squally shower filled with snow or hail. The heavier and more ominous the conditions the more exciting became the light. There are still trace patches of sunlight playing across the mountains and across distant outcrops of land in Selfjord and this has led to some glorious colour which ultimately was swallowed up as the storm engulfed me.
