Last weekend we visited Taroko Gorge - Taiwan's premier tourist attraction. Think Grand Canyon except a little smaller, and thickly forested. Beautiful.

I was a little disappointed to return without many great shots. I often find that here in Taiwan. I think the main reason is that its usually overcast at the moment. But I also think it's because I haven't found the best places to take shots yet.

Anyway, here's one I was happy with. This is the Tian Feng Pagoda in Taroko Gorge. It provides a bit of a different twist on the classic spiral staircase shot since there are staircases up both sides of this very narrow building.

Name inspired by the Nine Inch Nails album which I used to love... long ago.
