As the moon came over the horizon and out above the clouds I looked down the headland and spotted this set of rocks which I thought would make a good comp against the rising moon. Had to quickly stumble across the rocks and set up the tripod in an awkward position to get the shot.
In the end I created composite image with a correctly exposed and larger moon place over the top of the original moon to better express the mood of the evening.
