At the women's cancer hospital, we visited the two buildings where the women undergoing treatment stayed. There was barely enough room for all of us to fit in with the beds pushed tightly together. And a few ceiling fans were all they had to keep them cool. We were told they only received mattresses this year. Before that, they slept on cardboard placed on the box springs.
