We had rain throughout the night and then some light rain this morning, so I decided to go for a walk and check out the waterfalls in my backyard. The conditions were ideal and water level was up enough to make for good looking waterfall photos without being so high that navigating the creek was dangerous. As I was shooting, a tiny bit of bright sunlight came through the canopy just enough to provide some beautiful definition to the trunks of the trees. I managed just a few frames before the light disappeared. The effect is so subtle, but when I compare this shot to those taken without the hint of sunlight, you can see what a difference just a little light makes.
