Pure Sunlight. Magnificent light conditions in the Palouse in early June. On this particular evening broken clouds were roaming the skies, creating small pools of illumination moving across the landscape. I have always loved this tree and canal viewed from Steptoe Butte, but have long waited to see it in light like this. It lasted for a moment and then was gone.
