Halfway between Binalong Bay and St Helens on the North East coast of Tasmania, Moulting Bay is a rather quiet unassuming place which probably goes by unnoticed 9 days out of 10. Marianne and I felt that we had got what we wanted out of Binalong Bay the previous two days so we chose somewhere different for our last morning. As it turned out, it seemed a good decision with brilliant skies and glass like water and of course, an irresistable rickety old jetty.
