Having returned around 1am from a very successful sunset shoot over at Flakstad I was really ready to call it a night but Lofoten had other ideas. the sea had been very calm all day but when I rounded Hamnoy just a few dozen metres from where I was staying I saw that the sea actually had a reflection on it and the twilight afterglow framed the blue haze of the snow capped ridge in a glorious pink sky. Twilight blue and post sunset pink are one of my favourite colour combinations for landscapes.
