Once again inspired by Joel Grimes. If you haven't signed up for his show (and many others) on the [Framed] Network, do it now!
I have learned SO much from watching Joel in the first 8 episodes and just can't wait for the rest!
This is the video that shows the set up for his 'Three Light Soft Beauty' look.

You guys are going to hate me for this, but I can't divulge the 'secret' to this look.
Why? Because I don't remember what it was that did it. I tried so many different filters, adjustment layers and plugins that I consider myself lucky I didn't make a huge overcooked mess and scrap the image altogether, like I end up doing on a regular basis. I have been trying unsuccessfully for some time now to achieve this look that Joel does and never could nail it. I think the secret is really in the lighting, which I still have a long way to go in mastering. This is just a start. When or if I come up with a 'formula', I will shout it from the rooftops, don't worry.
I have said it before and I will say it again. I am not that skilled or talented, just your ordinary average hack, if you will... but I do have patience.
To quote Joel "Hard work will out perform talent any day of the week".
Don't give up and only try to please yourself :)
