i wanted to do just a regular retouch without having to do any compositing like i do with most of my other shots. i dont get a chance to do many portraits it seems so this was a nice change of pace.
did this with 3 lights. 1 umbrella high camera right as the key, a softbox camera left as a fill, and a bare flash bouncing off the back wall as a rim light on the left.
after i had done all the PSing, i decided to add the sketchy feel to get a bit of that retro-ness, since alot of those old pin up images were hand painted. i know this is not the same thing by any stretch, but i think it gives it a neat look. still not sure on the pink background, but it works well enough.
