I thought I would go for an Olympic themed image today as the Olympics are just around the corner here in London. I have been fortunate enough to get two tickets however as some of you may heard getting the tickets in the first place was very very difficult unless you wanted to pay lots of money.
This image is a bit of an irony really in that if it wasn't for this man, Sir John Betjeman, London St Pancras International, would not exist today. He saved the station from demolition during the 1960s (Beaching Act era) and now its one of the most important rail hubs in the UK or even Europe. The Irony really is that it will probably bring thousands of passengers for to the 2012 Olympic games and without the station, these Olympic rings would have to go elsewhere.
I'm hoping to get out with my camera in the next few days and get some more fresh images. Just getting my ideas together.
Hope you all are very well and still taking images, that is all for now :-)
