Ok fine I had to repost it after a naaasty early dislike that killed the picture. Sorry for those who already commented, liked or faved it!

For me, this picture I took last year in Sukhothaï, Thaïland shows exactly how a dream look like! Same colors, same zen ambiance...
Here I haven't done much retouching, the colors are real even if they look unreally beautiful. If you pay attention to the colors in this shot, you'll see that only the purple is missing to complete the rainbow colors! I shot three different exposures of the scene, handheld!! (couldn't bring my tripod to this amazing place you can only visit by bike) and merged them manually in Photoshop in order to give a rendering as realistic as possible.

A bit of history:

Sukhothai, which literally means "Dawn of Happiness" with an area of 6,596 km2, is about 427 km north of Bangkok and was founded in 1238. The Sukhothai Historical Park covers the ruins of Sukhothai, capital of the Sukhothai kingdom in the 13th and 14th centuries, in what is now the north of Thailand. It is located near the modern city of Sukhothai, capital of the province with the same name.
The city walls form a rectangle about 2 km east-west by 1.6 km north-south. There are 193 ruins on 70 square kilometers of land.[1] There is a gate in the centre of each wall. Inside are the remains of the royal palace and twenty-six temples, the largest being Wat Mahathat. The park is maintained by the Fine Arts Department of Thailand with help from UNESCO, which has declared it a World Heritage Site. The park sees thousands of visitors each year, who marvel at the ancient Buddha figures, palace buildings and ruined temples. The park is easily toured by bicycle or even on foot.
