That picture would be impossible to see with this kind of detail through a telescope with the naked eye since the total exposure time was 1 hour and 40 minutes. The red, green and blue data was captured separately and combined in post using CCDStack and Photoshop. However, if you do look at the Pleides star cluster though a telescope, you will see that it is quite blue and should appear to have a similar hue to this image.

Thanks. This was taken through a 14.5" RCOS telescope with an cooled CCD in really dark skies in New Mexico.
