Driving back home from Queensland I couldn't help but make a quick stopoff at Byron, and walk up to the towns landmark. I missed the best of the sunset, which wasn't that special, but I managed to get a few shots on dusk with the lighthouse rays beaming through the thick sea spray with the gorgeous twilight pink palette above. The Cape Byron Lighthouse is Australia's most easterly light being situated on the most easterly point of the mainland. It is also Australia's most powerful lighthouse. www.drewhopperphotography.com
