Coastal brown bears have always been the most fascinating to me. Why? I really don't know. Maybe it's their habitat that they live in, maybe it's the combination of the bears, water, and rocky shoreline, maybe it's the incredibly beautiful free range that they live in. It could be a whole host of things, but what I do know is that when I see these magnificent sows with their spring cubs out ad about, it makes my heart melt.
When I look back at this image, I can't but wonder where they are now and I pray that they are safe and thriving. For they have an entire life of adventure ahead of them. :-)
