One of my favorite places to visit in Iceland. I got on my waders and decided to get up and close, which meant getting very wet.
This was during high tide, and waves came crashing in one after another. You had to be careful because some of these iceberg pieces were quite large, and could easily sweep you off your feet.
As fun as it was getting up in the waves, this started a chain of tripod issues for me. The black sand mixed with the waves washing in and out ended up seizing about every component of my tripod setup, from ball head, tripod legs to quick release clamp. It was all worth it though in the end.
