To accentuate the motion, I needed to up close with my 14mm wide angle lens (remember that this is a Micro Four Thirds, so it would be a 28 mm on a regular camera). Took the tripod to a set of high standing rocks, so as to be “in the scene.” Still the waves rushed in; and yes, both the legs of the tripod and me got wet.
This is a single shot (no HDR) with some increased saturation in Lightroom. In the end, it has the spirit of Joseph Turner (19th century English Romantic landscape painter) in softness, colors and theme of boats on the ocean in distress. (And I know, I am no Turner!)
