I was so excited 2 hours before this sunset when I saw the clouds in the sky start to form into what you see here. I was racing around the country roads of north eastern Oregon trying to find something to frame in this sunset. I came over a rolling hill and saw this beauty in the middle of a wheat field. Being on an indian reservation, I didn't want to get scalped (previous incident), so I drove to the nearest house to ask permission to shoot. The family was SO friendly, and their dogs kept me company while I shot this. This has to be one of the best sunsets I have captured here in Oregon so far. It sure feels good to get something like this under the belt.
