Beautiful light - had dinner with a friend who has just come back from Cape Town a wek or so ago - she said it rained the whole time she was there! what a shame as Cape town has so much to offer when the light is great.

Our weather has been shocking!! Sooo much rain, my cellar is drenched! Feels like I am back in East Sussex!! What a pity that she had to see our beautiful mother city like that!! uuurgh...

Seems like the world is going mad with the weather at the moment - heard they have had massive floods in southern Japan and that lots of people have died!
Must admit cannot wait until next visit to SA, we are considering at some point purchasing a house in the Cape. Probably find thought that my wife's family will use it more than us (they are all up in the pretoria area!)
