This female leopard "found us" at Cubitje Quap waterhole in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. I photographed her as she drank at the waterhole, whereafter she slowly but steadily made her way to the dry Nossob riverbed. She gazed at the rising African sun for a majestic moment, whereafter she made her way up a nearby camel thorn tree...
