No matter the weather, I always try to get a few shots and it's rare for a total write off, however this particular night came extremely close and I almost went home without so much as a click of the shutter. A couple of hours before this I was on top of a nearby hill watching some awesome rain clouds and a phenomenal double rainbow. Only problem was I had to watch it all unfold from the shelter of a tree. It was just far too wet to even consider a photo as the filters were steaming up and drops of rain falling from the leaves. After it cleared, the temp dropped and I saw the mist forming a mile or so away in the glen. I ran down the hill, hopped in the landrover and went in search of the mist. When I got here, had to contend with excited heifers and filters steaming up. This and a couple of other shots were all I could muster!
