Years ago, I painted. and now I paint with the cam. I love HDRs, stacking but also the kick of running after insects, birds and flowers and just take one single good picture. when it's the season for it. I'm not interested in reproducing reality since I know, that reality is "per se" not that easy to reproduce. it's a philosophical question. on the other hand, I love details as I see them with my eyes not limited by the camera. sharp details from the front to the end of an object thrills me. or the wide spectrum of light in a hdr picture is representing more reality that I can process following my inner eye. so, it's a mix between trying to represent reality as it appears to me and interpretate it in a second step.
