I have been fortunate enough to turn my passion for photography into a career that allows me to put a face on the hardships of a world without light. Working with Empower Playgrounds Inc., a non-profit that installs electricity-generating playground equipment in deprived schools, I have had the opportunity to travel to Ghana several times to document the humanity of the people EPI seeks to help, and in the process, have fallen in love with the faith, determination, and spirit of the country.
