I’m an amateur photographer, mainly interested in taking cityscapes and architecture - I love urban environments, but also landscape photography, particularly while travelling. I have a photography site, pointingnorth.co.uk, where I blog about my experiences as an amateur photographer, and post a larger gallery of my work. Photography for me is about trying to capture the atmosphere of a place or event within the picture: the dynamic buzz of a city, the reflective silence of a forest, or the historic grandeur of a temple ruin. Almost everything and anything interests me!
