Paul is a Northern California photographer that loves wandering in the outdoors. While he especially likes doing it with friends and family, he sometimes prefers solitude and the quiet of mind that comes with it. One of his favorite quotes, although he knows not from whom or where - "All those who wander are not lost". Although getting lost can be fun too.
Other than photography and wandering through the endless epic beauty of the outdoors, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing with friends, cycling, reading American revolutionary history or epic sci-fi space operas and staying fit. As for staying fit, that comes in fits and spurts but always defaults back to being fitter. He loves to laugh and and is enriched by being part of a community and collaborating with others, both personally and professionally. As it is with most people, he's constantly working on the balancing everything else in my life with photography.
His day job, the one that pays the bills? Well, for now, he's unemployed. Know anyone looking for a seasoned IT service management professional?
He shoots with a Nikon D7000 and a few different FX and DX lenses. He's come along way since he started taking this art seriously (and playfully) and has a long way to go, but he remain open to the endless possibilities. He's continually learning and drawing on the endless source of inspiration from this lovely group of people who share a common yearning and lust for their art, so he's always grateful for feedback and suggestions.
Happy to be on the path with you.
