I was born in 1968 on the beautiful Caribbean island of the Dominican Republic. In 1997 I decided to leave and moved to Miami which became my new home. It is in Miami where I found my love for photography and began developing my hobby.
My inspiration comes from searching and finding details overlooked by most. This is what I try to capture with my art. I see and find unique beauty in the mundane. I am on an intimate level with everyday objects that most people see and take for granted. When capturing these images I am immersed in the saturated color and shape of the subject. The unique experience that each project brings me is translated to my camera and then into a print. I have found a way to “paint” images with light and color by use of depth of field and the manipulation of the objects. I can sculpt the image into a finished composition. My objective is to take any subject and use it to create images that resembles a painting yet photographic in the use of captured light.
