I am an amateur photographer who moved to coastal Alabama area from Georgia. I love taking photos of nature, landscapes, flowers, insects, wildlife and birds and mostly outdoor photographs. I taught myself how to shoot in Manual Mode thereby opening up a whole new world for me when shooting photos. I continually study photography tips and techniques received in e-mails, along with photography magazines, books and articles on the Internet to better my skills and learn something new. Since moving to coastal Alabama, I have been and will continue entering state-wide and local photography contests. Several of these contests have resulted in some winning photos! I enjoy viewing the work of numerous photographers on 500px as another learning tool for the photos I take. I welcome all comments and constructive critiques from all who visit my page.
