I started taking pictures during my primary years with a Kodak 110. it was during high school, when I obtained a used Canon new-A1 with a few lenses from a friend, that I started looking into photography more seriously, and did a large number of macro-photography. He also thought me (real) darkroom techniques. Ever since the 7D came out, I have been reading a lot of reviews before deciding to move to DSLR recently; it felt the same with my A1, except more sophisticated (not to mention heavier!). Still looking for my own niche.
