Rui Caria was born in Nazaré, a small Portuguese village. In 1990 he landed his first job as a cameraman for a small company. Since 1993 he works as cameraman and news reporter for a main national TV station. He lives in the Azores Islands since 2005, where he continues his television work. Photography has always been the root of his job, but the passion for still life started when he moved to Azores.
