Sam graduated from Colorado College as a photographer, a snowboarder and a sociologist. His senior thesis rolled all three into one, studying imagery in snowboarding media. He has been behind both still and moving cameras for 9 years. The last few winters have been spent chasing powder in the Rockies, the Wasatch, Japan, and China. Sam now lives in Brooklyn and is assisting photographers in New York City. Among others, he is a contributor for Fucking Nostalgic and Resource Magazine.
