Born and brought up in India, I am into information technology field by profession and an avid nature & wildlife enthusiast by passion. I have always been attracted to nature’s play of light and colours. During my school and college days, I satiated my yearning with painting and sketching. I had been exploring photography with point and shoot film cameras until my first DSLR got me hooked into photography for life. Starting with all genres viz. landscape, portrait, sports, macro photography; gradually I found I am most attracted towards photographing nature. Landscape and wildlife photography gives me immense joy and satisfaction. My family has always inspired me in pursuing this hobby which has now become a passion. And this passion has given me some very good friends! I shoot with Canon gears. I have a strong focus to achieve the intended results in-camera. For landscapes/seascapes, whenever required, I use various filters to achieve the effect I “visualize”. Sometimes I do enhance my images in digital post processing. The amount of processing varies from image to image but most of the time it is restricted within level adjustment, colour cast correction, noise removal, sharpening or highlight-shadow adjustment.
