Scott is a career law enforcement officer with the Edwardsville IL. Police Department, and a professional freelance photographer. While heading the investigations division of the police department, digital photography started replacing the 35mm film cameras being used. Scott was charged with learning the digital process to maintain the departments evidence photography needs. The passion for creating great photographic images was reignited.
As a freelance photographer Scott has done commercial photography work for Interior Designers, Architects, Contractors, and Artists. Besides doing freelance contract work, Scott does photographic restorations for clients. His nature-oriented prints grace the main lobby of Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois, and the Ronald McDonald Houses, at Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital, and St. Johns Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. His work has appeared in newspapers, magazines, and various periodicals. Scott has won honorable mention awards from photography contests for the National Parks Foundation, and The Nature Conservancy. You can view more of his work at his website.
