Sérgio Azenha is a freelance photojournalist based in Coimbra, Portugal. He studied journalism at Coimbra University and got his first break working for the portuguese newspaper Jornal de Notícias. After a few years as staff photographer for the portuguese newspaper Público, he became a freelancer and his photographs have since appeared in newspapers Diário de Notícias, Público, Correio da Manhã, The Toronto Star as well as news magazines Sábado and Visão. He also works for The Associated Press (AP) and the portuguese national news agency LUSA. Sérgio is available for assignments locally and abroad. Please contact him directly to discuss your needs.
