Recently got back into photography after a long break away from it when real life got in the way. Now the proud owner of DSLR which im getting to grips with. Along with a few different lenses to play with. As well as a nice compact camera which easy fits in my pocket and goes everywhere with me "just in case"!! I even take it down to the corner shop as you never know. When out and about on a shoot i always look for a different angle and try to step out of the norm, even if that means ignoring some of the photography rules to make the shot a little different. I like landscapes but the scenery around home is not very inspiring but i also like urban shot's and Newcastle is such a photogenic city. I also like taking shots of nature and make regular visits to different local hides. Then there is the party and festival shoots. A very difficult subject to do, especially when i dont like using a flash. But i have some good shots taken this way which work well. In August 2012 I had my first paid shoot which was exciting and totally out of the blue.
