Italy

Published April 12th, 2012

During June/July of 2011, I was fortunate enough to travel to Italy with my closest friends as part of trip run by our school of Architecture. The trip was predominantly architecture directed and this gave us a profound appreciation of the buildings we have studied which went from images on a slideshow to real life structures standing before us. Italy is fantastic, not only the architecture, but the way of life, culture and people made it an unforgettable memory. These select images try to summarise my trip.

Sant' Antimo

Buonasera

The evening atmosphere in Italy is amazing. People out enjoying themselves in a beautiful setting.

I love the flat light and straightforward framing of the Sant' Antimo church, and the peacefulness of the Grand Canal shot. The early mornings there must be wonderful.
