I've been taking photographs as a serious hobby since 2008 when I decided to put a works bonus towards my first Digital SLR camera, a Nikon D80. Since then, I've upgraded to a Nikon D300 and recently switched sides and currently use a Canon 5D mark 2 and L series lenses. I didn't realise until my interest in photography took a hold, that I'm fortunate to live in Sheffield with its excellent location right next to the Peak District. The west and east coast are equally accessible which lets me exercise lots of different photographic subjects, all of which I enjoy and seek to capture whenever possible.
