Tooting trumpets isn't the done thing I'm sure, but you're here to find out so here it is: I am a multi award winning writer and photographer, and am the 2012 RPCV Photographer of the Year. Originally from England, I am currently based in rural Victoria, Australia. I am enjoying combining my passion for photography with my passion for travel and for the people you meet along the journey. As well as photography I have won several literary and journalism awards, including: the OPSO Media Awards for best feature (2011, finalist 2012) and finalist at the Australian Sports Commission Media Awards (2011, 2012), winner of the Blue Butterfly poetry prize, long listed in the Fish International poetry competition and Commended in The Times Stephen Spender Memorial prize. Two cats and a dog keep me sane, if annoyed by feline indifference.
