Smilecat is Drew Dozier's business name ~^..^~ and logo. She has been drawn to photography since she was ten years old...the year of the Poloriad Swinger camera. Drew's personality allows her to go into the "oohh shiny" mode at any given moment. In doing so, she is able and willing to stop any give task and capture a moment as she sees it. Her goal in photography is to show the beauty of God's world in everyday ways. Her photographs are frequently used in her children's sermons and she is currently working on an inspirational book. Living in Texas, Drew has extensive knowledge concerning the personality and friendliness of Longhorn Cattle, flora & fauna and out of the way historical sights. In past years, Drew has spent a majority of her time as a portrait/wedding photographer. It is recently that she realized that her true passion is capturing the usually unnoticed things in life. She is a Methodist lay speaker, ropes course facilitator, cattle breeder, mother, house remodeler, animal foster mom, and furniture painter among other things. The blend of all of these gives her inspiration, excitement and passion which is clearly seen through her photographic eye.
