So... Tony Dadson's Artist Statement. Through my work, I attempt to examine the phenomenon of Scooby Doo as a metaphorical interpretation of both Jerry Uelsmann and discombobulating. What began as a personal journey of bullshitism has translated into images of chocolate eclairs and Adam's Apples that resonate with Anglo-Saxon people to question their own blueness. My mixed media bamboozlement embody an idiosyncratic view of Confucious, yet the familiar imagery allows for a connection between Ansel Adams, particle physics and watermelons. My work is in the private collection of Victoria Beckham who said 'Dude!, that's some real protozoic Art.' I am a recipient of a grant from Folsom Prison where I served time for stealing mugs and tie clips from the gift shop of The Guggenheim.
