Hi, my name is Sung and I'm a high school teacher on a leave of absence, trying my hand at entrepreneurship in the world of podcasting. I first received my camera, a Canon AE-1, as a graduation gift from my parents when I was 13. I've always enjoyed photography, but never took the time to take a class for some reason.
With the progress of digital photography, the internet, and software/hardware, I've found its convenience and the flexibility a much needed creative outlet. I often wonder why I enjoy freezing people, scenery, and such. Perhaps, I enjoy immortalizing all things that are beautiful in this world, and it's my way of reminding myself the most important things in life, and truly the most beautiful are simple; I love how a photographer sees the world through the lens of his/her camera.
As a physics teacher I believe, photography marries both science and art, better than most other expression or discipline. I've traveled to over 50 countries so far and enjoy capturing the difference and similarities of diverse world culture. I enjoy learning from talented photographers and humbled by so much talent I see in others' photography. I'm still learning and welcome any constructive criticism and advice. Thanks for reading.
