I was born at Athens in 1966, but I spring from the small village Hioniades, Ipirus, northwestern Greece. I studied forestry at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and during my student years I got interested in studying wildlife and nature photography. All these years I worked for important bird conservation projects that gave me the oppurtunity to meet Greece's natural beauties and biodiversity. The project that changed my life was the Life project for the Conservation of the Bearded Vulture at Greece that brought me at Crete. Today I 'm living on the island, since 1999, studying and photographing its nature. Unfortunately, the last years I have an office job and so I cannot devote a lot of time to nature & wildlife photography, but I appreciate every moment I spend outdoors, trying to capture a nature’s great moment, an action shot or the beautiful colours of nature’s palette.
