Japanese macaques at the advent of winter

Ease the winter chores

A FAMILY PORTRAIT, SHOWING THE MATERNAL OSMOSIS. THE REALITIES WERE ON THIS DAY HARDER THAN MY DARKEST BLACK & WHITE. THE BABY, AS BIG AS HIS/HER MOTHER BY ONLY AN ILLUSION FROM A THICK FLUFFY FUR, HAD BEEN BEATEN, BITTEN HARSHLY BY AN ALPHA MALE. BLOOD WAS EVERYWHERE ON THE ROCKS. THE MACAQUE COMMUNITY HAD BEEN IN A FRENZY, RUNNING EVERYWHERE, LEAPING, SCREAMING AS MUCH AS ROARING. I'VE SEEN MONKEYS RUSHING THROUGH THE LEGS OF MY TRIPOD AND DASHING AROUND MY EARS. AFTER A WHILE, THE MOTHER FOUND BACK THE WOUNDED YOUNGSTER FOR THIS EMBRACE. TO SURVIVE IS ONE OF THE WINTER CHORE FOR A YOUNG JAPANESE MACAQUE.
